The Deputy Supervisor for the Motor Pool is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the effective use of Motor Pool drivers and almost 800 vehicles to meet the needs of the ICASS/PROGRAM associated with 38 agencies and over 1200 LES employees who subscribe to motor pool services under ICASS.
Directly responsible for the daily management of almost 800 vehicles in the Motor Pool fleet, including light and heavy armored vehicles, all-terrain utility vehicles, passenger vehicles, trucks, and other specialty vehicles. Plans, organizes and prepares bi-weekly Motor Pool operations schedule consisting of multiple shifts. Establishes priorities for vehicle use, reviews the schedule for periodic vehicle maintenance and chauffeur assignments. The Deputy Supervisor will work closely with the Motor Pool Supervisor to address employee issues such as discipline, medical, personnel, pay, safety and awards and provides suggestions. Serves as the motor pool supervisor in his absence.
EXPERIENCE: Must have minimum of three years’ experience as a chauffeur, dispatcher or automotive maintenance and two years of supervisory experience Should have experience in an office setting with logistical, administrative, customer service experience.
Education Requirements:Secondary (High) School required.
LANGUAGE: Level III (good working knowledge) in English and Level IV Dari and (or other local dialect)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Microsoft Office; ability to type, supervisory skills, basic math to perform workload and statistical reports, possess a valid driver’s license; basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
