Job Description:

Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.


    Review existing business products and commercial services to ensure continuous improvement and growth


    Develop and maintain industry knowledge and networks and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve both short and long term goals;


         Identify industry/business developments opportunities and challenges;


    Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors


         Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume and value of transactions.


    Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products  delivery schedules, merchandising techniques etc.


    Recommend changes in product/services and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments


    Resolve customer/clients complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.


         Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.


         Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.


    Require travel to the regions to promote M-Paisa to regional Roshan staff and potential clients/customers; and get an understanding of the regional market dynamics


         Ensure the platform requirements are defined to support products and promotions


         Provide a roadmap and implementation plans for products and promotions


    Work closely with the Head of Operations and M-Commerce to make sure that Customer issues Field Management Issues are taken care of and do not create risk on the commercial end


          Recommend new opportunities and promotions that help increasing the volume and value of transactions.

Job Requirements:


    Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Energy Level, Negotiation, Prospecting Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Sales Planning, Independence, Motivation for Sales & life cycle management.

         Knowledge and experience of mobile money in general and in Afghan context


BBA with at least 5 years of related experience with any reputable company/organization.

Marketing or Sales background. Technology background and interest is an added advantage
