Job Description:

Finance Intern is required to work under the supervision of  finance manager or finance officer.
Finance Intern is required to read and understand the financial processes and procedures of the IIFC Group and work accordingly.
Finance Intern is required to assist the accountants in reviewing the financial statements and cross checking it to ensure accuracy.
Finance Intern is required to review the accounting ledgers prepared by the accountants and ensure that these are correct.
Finance Intern needs to review the journal entries to check their accuracy.
Finance Intern needs to ensure that the tasks assigned to him/her are completed within the timeframe set for the same.
Financial Intern is required to work on the software installed for maintaining a record of the financial transactions.
Finance Intern needs to key in financial data in the system as per the instruction given to him by his/her mentor.
Copying documents
Dealing with banks, such as withdrawels, deposits etc

Any other tasks assigned by his/ her direct supervisor!!

Must be able to read and write and work with figures; Diploma in accountancy or high school graduate.
Personality Synopsis:
Must have working knowledge of finance and accounting;
Must have Idea/ knowledge of microfinance and credit union practices;
Ability to communicate effectively in Dari, Pashto and English.

Strong communication skills both oral & written and ability to practice both downward and upward communication
A demonstrated ability to co-ordinate hardware and software maintenance.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate work to subordinates in an efficient manner and follow up on the delivery of such activities.
Ability to work under pressure and limited supervision.
Ability to handle and solve tasks politely and professionally.
