About Ministry of Public Health:
Implementation of integrated management of neonatal and childhood illnesses (IMNCI) in comprehensive and holistic approach is aimed to improve child survival and their fifth birthday celebration by training on IMNCI concepts and sensitizing on environmental factors to enhance quality under five healthcare.
Childhood diarrhoea remain as one of the major causes of death among children under five. In addition to other interventions, WHO and UNICEF recommend utilization of Zinc-ORS for treatment and control of diarrheal diseases.
